Doctor of Philosophy Program(with BS Degree)
Ph.D. Program (Ph.D. Degree)
The Physics Ph.D. program consists of fourteen graduate courses, a non-credit seminar, a qualifying exam, a thesis proposal defense, and a doctoral thesis in accordance with the regulations of the Institute of Graduate Studies in Sciences and Engineering . A maximum of three graduate courses offered by other programs in the university may be taken with the permission of the graduate advisor. The department requires the publication of at least one article in a peer-reviewed physics journal listed in the Science Citation Index Expanded as a result of the thesis work.
