Graduate Program

The Physics Graduate Program is designed to develop the student’s ability to pursue independent and original research. The program involves research in various areas of experimental and theoretical physics.

The department has both an M.S. and a Ph.D. program. It is expected that the PhD dissertation work will lead to at least one published paper in a refereed physics journal listed in the Science Citation Index.
