Theoretical High Energy Astrophysics, Accretion Disks, Magnetohydrodynamics, Neutron Stars and Black Holes: Theory of magnetosphere-disk interaction in accreting neutron-star systems such as X-ray pulsars in binaries, ultraluminous X-ray pulsars with super-Eddington accretion disks, anomalous X-ray pulsars and soft gamma repeaters with supernova fallback disks. Evolutionary modeling of ultraluminous X-ray sources in high-mass X-ray binaries. Modeling of quasi-periodic oscillations in both neutron-star and black-hole low-mass X-ray binaries. Radio efficiency of pulsars.
