Interest Areas

Dr. Tuna Pesen is an experimental physicist working on cell mechanics at the single-cell level using optical tweezers, Raman spectroscopy, and acoustic microscopy. Her research focuses on the mechanical and biochemical properties of red blood cells under controlled mechanical and thermal conditions, and includes studies on glioblastoma (GBM) related to drug resistance at the single-cell scale.
